Vacon has opened new representative office in Kazakhstan
The global AC drives manufacturer Vacon continues to expand its operations in the Commonwealth of Independent States, CIS. Vacon has opened a new representative office in Almaty, in the southern part of Kazakhstan.
The new office is responsible for Vacon's business operations and service in Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
"Opening a new Vacon office is always an important commitment to our customers," says Sergey Postnikov, Managing Director, Vacon Russia and CIS.
"Business developments in Central Asia are encouraging, and there are considerable prospects for energy efficient AC drives in the region. Therefore an office of our own gives us a better foothold, and we also follow our philosophy of being close to the customer. The new office will also promote the VACON® brand, the work of our local partner network, and partner and customer training," Mr Postnikov concludes.
Vacon is driven by a passion to develop, manufacture and sell the best AC drives and inverters in the world - and provide customers with efficient product lifecycle services. Our AC drives offer optimum process control and energy efficiency for electric motors. Vacon inverters play a key role when energy is produced from renewable sources. Vacon has production and R&D facilities in Europe, Asia and North America, and sales offices in 27 countries. Further, Vacon has sales representatives and service partners in nearly 90 countries. In 2011, Vacon's revenues amounted to EUR 380.9 million, and the company employed globally approximately 1,500 people.
