Huurre to deliver logistic terminal in Ukraine

Huurre has signed a contract of 2,4 million euro for supply and installation of all refrigeration plants to a new logistic terminal to be built for one of the biggest Ukrainian supermarket-chains Fozzy. This contract once again confirms Huurre’s fast growing presence in the Central and Eastern Europe region.

The project will be a 30.000 m2 logistic centre just outside the city of Kiev. It will include chilled area, large cross-docking and several freezing rooms. The project will be managed by TOV Huurre Ukraine.

Huurre has been present in Ukraine with its fully owned daughter company TOV Huurre Ukraine since 2004. This company has in recent years performed several cold-storage projects and rather complex turn-key projects of refrigerated distribution storages and food-processing plants.

Start-up on site will be in February 2011 and final completion is agreed for September.
