Tallinn Technology Park and Start-up Center of Helsinki School of Economics Small Business Center signed a cooperation contract

Tallinn Technology Park (Tehnopol) and Start-up Center of HSE Small Business Center (HSE Start-up Center) signed a cooperation contract that helps to develop cooperation between Estonian and Finnish companies and provide better business development services.

According to the contract the companies in Tehnopol and HSE Start-up Center are able to use meeting and office facilities in both countries and consume the business development services provided by specialists in both business environments.

"This contract gives possibilitiy for Finnish and Estonian start-up companies network development on the new level and gives possibility for offering different joint internationalization and business development services for Finnish and Estonian companies" said Natalia Narits, office manager in HSE Small Business Center.

"It is very important that the companies, especially starting companies, have an easy access to foreign markets. Cooperation with HSE Start-up Center definitely encourages companies in Tehnopol to expand to Finnish market and make more efficient cooperation with Finnish companies" said Martin Gorosko, marketing manager in Tehnopol.

Tehnopol is a largest business environment for knowledge based companies in Estonia. Today there are 150 companies, Tallinn University of Technology and IT College in Tehnopol. Tehnopol provides a unique set of value adding business development services, convenient infrastructure and international cooperation opportunities for tenant companies.

The HSE Start-up Center is an essential part of the Aalto University, which starts in 2009. The partners in the Aalto University are: Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and Iniversity of Art and Design Helsinki. Today in the Start-up Center are 50 companies. Start-up Center has close network with the Technopolis Ventures Oy and with the business incubator of University of Art and Design for development of creative entrepreneurship.
