Nurminen Logistics opened an office in Malmö

Using the new office in Malmö, Nurminen Logistics can offer its clients new competitive transport routes to Russia and other CIS countries through Poland, in particular. Opening the office also helps in obtaining new customers in Scandinavia. The branch, located in Slagthuset in Malmö, is headed by Regional Manager Peter Langerbeck, who has extensive experience in the logistics industry.

Nurminen Logistics' comprehensive product selection includes rail transport, terminal services, forwarding, and special and heavy freight transport. The business unit also offers its clients logistics services related to project exports. Nurminen Logistics has at its disposal nearly 1,000 wagons, and the new logistics centre, which opened in November of 2008 in Vuosaari in Helsinki at the new harbour, brought the overall capacity to 130,000 square meters once all phases were complete. The wagons are modern, and they have been designed to meet the diverse needs of customers including transporting paper, machinery, equipment, and timber. The terminals accept goods ranging from paper to machines. Nurminen Logistics is capable of implementing the entire value chain maintaining ownership of the most essential equipment and facilities.
