Pöyry acquires remaining shares in Giprobum Russia

Pöyry has acquired the remaining 30 per cent of the shares of ZAO Giprobum-Pöyry (formerly ZAO Giprobum Engineering), based in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Pöyry has published press releases concerning the acquisition on 3 April 2007 and 18 June 2007. These releases include more detailed information on the business and finances of Giprobum as well as on the transaction.

Pöyry is a global consulting and engineering firm focusing on the energy, forest industry and infrastructure & environment sectors. Pöyry's net sales in 2007 amounted to about EUR 720 million and it employs 7300 experts.
