Servaali to establish a new export department, Servaali Export, in Finland
Servaali Oy will expand its operations significantly in the Baltic area in 2008. Servaali Oys Lithuanian subsidiary, UAB Servaali, was established at the end of 2007 and is now starting its operations. The establishing of a Latvian subsidiary is also underway. The Latvian branch of the company is expected to be fully operative before summer 2008.
As well as the Baltic area, Servaali expects to open new distribution channels in other selected markets during 2008. The role of the new export department at start is to establish effective distribution channels and provide sales and marketing services for the Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch and British markets. Servaali Export has export contracts with various producers. The companys product range also includes Finnish beverage producers products.

Appointment news
Juha Lepistö has been appointed as Director of International Operations at Servaali Oy. He will assume his duties on 3 March, 2008. Juha will be responsible for the companys tax-free-related operations and the export department that will commence its operations also on 3 March. Mr Lepistö will also coordinate the operations of the companys Baltic subsidiaries and will be in charge of their development projects. Mr Lepistö has 13 years of experience in beverage exports and marketing.
He has previously worked in export and marketing for the brewers Hartwall and Scottish & Newcastle. He has been responsible for the exports to Russia, and during the last few years his duties extended to Estonian, Danish, German and Moldovian exports. His key tax free customers included Tallink Silja and SuperSeaCat. In his new role, Mr Lepistö will report to CEO Teemu Lehto.
