Vapo strenghtens its' position in Poland
Vapo Pellets has strenghtened its' presence in Poland by acquiring Enpal Sp. z.o.o. The factory is located in Slubice at the German boarder, only 100 km from Berlin. The purchasing contract was signed 12.4.2007. Current production of the factory is 30.000 tons but it will be doubled by year 2009.
Total production capacity of Vapo Pellets is totally 850.000 tons annually and factories are located in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Poland.
"The investment is in line with Vapo Pellets' strategy. When developing Vapo's activities in Poland, the increase of volumes improves our market position and contributes the development of marketing in Central Europe and Poland", says Juhani Ylä-Sahra, the Director of Vapo Pellets.
