Tamro increases ownership in ZAO ROSTA in Russia to 42,5% (27/3/2006)
Tamro has today acquired the Polish independent pre-wholesaler FarmPlus Sp z. o.o from Mediplus Incorporated. FarmPlus, with annual sales of EUR 250 million and 75 employees, is one of the leading full-service importers and distributors of pharmaceutical products in Poland. The deal is pending approval from the competition authorities.
Based in Warsaw, the company is in the business of importing, warehousing, promoting, sale and distribution of pharmaceutical products in the territory of Poland. By joining Tamro Group we are able to serve our customers better in our growing market, due to the synergies brought with Tamros long experience in Scandinavian pre-wholesale markets says Artur Haze, Managing Director of FarmPlus Sp. z o.o.
