Finnair doubles its flights to Poland
Finnair is doubling its flights to Poland as the summer season begins. The airline is upping the number of frequencies between the capitals Helsinki and Warsaw and opening an entirely new route to Krakow. The new afternoon flight between Helsinki and Warsaw is operated daily, except for Monday and Saturday, starting 26 March. The route to Krakow will be launched on 13 April with two weekly flights operated on Thursdays and Sundays.
The additional frequencies between Helsinki and Warsaw support Finnairs Asian strategy by creating good connections between Poland and our total of seven destinations in China and Japan. Warsaw also now has an improved transfer schedule for Singapore and Bangkok as well, says Finnair VP Network Strategies and Management Petteri Kostermaa.
The new afternoon connections to Warsaw and the route to Krakow are operated with Finnairs new 76-seat Embraer 170 jet aircraft.
