Latvia will have to pay lost recovery
Stockholm's International Arbitrage has decided that Latvia will have to pay approximately LVL 7 million to the joint stock company Latvijas Gaze to cover the losses caused by regulations of gas tariffs in Latvia.

Latvijas Gaze has sold its daughter company
Latvian gas company Latvijas Gaze has sold its daughter company Latvijas Propana Gaze to a Swiss company Massonyx Ltd. The company was sold for its nominal value LVL 5.02 million.

The Parliament accepted amendments to the law on Added Tax Value
On June 20, the Parliament accepted amendments to the law on Added Tax Value, which will increase the rights of the State Revenue Service to control companies and to delay repayment of tax overpayment on a trial period.
