National budget revenue to exceed expenses by EEK 3.7 billion
According to Ministry of Finance, EEK 42.7 billion came in to national budget during first eight months of 2006, which is 69.6% of the budget revenue planned. In the end of August income exceeded expenses by nearly EEK 3.7 billion. When compared to respective period last year, income has grown by 17.9%.
Estonias economic growth may be quickest in world
Estonia aspires to the quickest economic growth country in 2Q in the world. Today, Estonian 12% economic growth is safely leading among 57 countries. China with 11.3% GDP is in second place and Latvia is third with 11.1% economic growth. India has not published 2Q results yet.
Eight months turnover of Viciunai Baltic grew to EEK 114 million
Viciunai Baltic OÜ, which sells frozen and chilled foodstuff and also provides logistic services, had EEK 114.4 million turnover in eight months of 2006. When compared to respective period in 2005, turnover grew 7%. Companys net profit was EEK 4.8 million.
