Quick economic growth described year 2005
According to initial data, Estonia’s GDP was 9.8% bigger in 2005 than it was a year before. GDP was EEK 164.9 billion in current price last year; economic growth mostly based on net export and domestic demand. Spheres of activity that influenced the growth of GDP the most were manufacturing trade, real estate, renting and business activity, transport, storage facilities, wholesale and retail trade.

Profit of Postimees grew by EEK 3 million
Turnover of AS Postimees was EEK 165 million last year; in 2004, turnover was EEK 142.3 million. Company’s income before income tax was EEK 10.4 million in 2005; a year before, income was EEK 7.1 million.
