Individual consumption influenced economic growth
GDP in third quarter was 10.6% higher than in third quarter 2004. The main reason for this is acceleration of individual consumption, which is expected to slow down next year. Quick growth of individual consumption was due to low interest rates of loans and deposits and favourable loans and leasing conditions. When compared to the second quarter, GDP increased 2.6%.
