If Eesti Kindlustus received EEK 165 mln in profit
The net profit of nine last months for If Eesti Kindlustus reached EEK 165 million compared to EEK 134 million in respective period last year. The income of insurance payments increased 11 percent in same time period. In Estonia, If has 34 bureaus and sales points. With a market share of 40 percent, If Eesti Kindlustus is the biggest local insurance company.

EBRD to recognise Estonia
European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) notes in its yesterdays report of transition countries that the economy of Estonia is one of the most competitive in the world. In the report it is written that Estonias export growth supports the exchange rate of kroon-euro on optimal level and there is no need to use any additional measures to keep this level.

Big economic growth expected for the Baltics
Presenting its autumn economic outlook, the EC predicts 8,4 pct economical growth for Estonia this year and 7,2 pct next year. Latvian economy is predicted to grow 9,1 pct this year and 7,7 pct next year and Lithuanian economy 7 pct this year and 6,2 pct next year. Estonian rise of consumer prices is estimated to be 4,1 pct this year and 3,3 pct next year.
