Tallink’s financial year’s profit doubled
Tallink’s last financial year’s profit was EEK 472.53 million; sales reached EEK 4.1 billion. Financial manager of Tallink Group Janek Stalmeister said that the results were good. Eckerö Line’s executive manager Katrin Sirk-Aun said that Tallink is doing financially good, but it could have more passengers. According to Sirk-Aun, Tallink and Eckero Line work on different markets and for different people, therefore Eckerö Line is not afraid of competition.

Record amount of passengers in half years
Silja Line Eesti informs that the summer season for fast speed vessels ended with better results than expected. Company is satisfied that it added third fast speed vessel on Tallinn-Helsinki shipping line this year.

9-month turnover of ETK Group almost EEK 4 billion
The nine-month consolidated turnover of Estonia’s biggest retail trade group ETK grew 13.4 percent compared to same period last year forming EEK 3.78 billion. In September, turnover grew 19.4 percent compared to September 2004. Biggest trade chains of ETK are Maksimarket, Konsum, A ja O and E-Ehitus.
