Kesko reported 36 percent sales
Finnish grocery chain Kesko reported a 36 percent increase in sales in Estonia and Latvia in 11 months. In Estonia where the company has six Citymarket supermarkets and 45 Säästumarket discounters, total sales of Citymarket and Säästumarket chains were EEK 3.87 billion in 11 months.

Tallink triumphs on the Tallinn-Helsinki line
During the times when Finnish ferry companies are losing passengers on Tallinn-Helsinki line, Tallink ferry company thanks to its new shops is getting more and more passengers. Due to the new ships Tallink increased its passenger numbers by a quarter of a million. Major investments stand behind Tallinks success. During last two years Tallink invested over EEK 5 billion into its new ships. October was the record month for Tallink. In October Tallink transported 242 613 passengers, which is 64 000 passengers more than during last years October.
