Deficit of transaction deposit decreased in may by nearly three times
According to the preliminary estimation of the Bank of Estonia, the deficit of Mays transaction deposit was EEK 1.393 billion, which is nearly three times smaller compared to April. In April, the deficit reached up to EEK 3.833 billion. In May last year, the deficit amounted EEK 924 million.

The June sales of Citymarket doubled
Turnover of Citymarket chain that belongs to Kesko grew 73 percent in the first half of the year. Growth in June was especially big 104 percent. Citymarkets turnover in June reached EEK 169 million. Six month turnover reached EEK 798 million.

The sale of Liviko increased by third in June
The total sale of Liviko, the manufacturer of alcoholic beverages formed 1.124 million litres in June, having grown by third. The sale grew mainly due to the increased export and sale of products targeted to tourists.
In first six months, Liviko sold 4.607 million litres of alcohol, which is nearly million litres more than during respective period in 2003.

Pakterminal set a record of the half-year
During six months this year, Pakterminal processed 5.08 million tons of raw crude oil and oil products, setting a record of the half-year. The average processed amount per month is 850,000 tons. The amount of Pakterminals investments surmounts EEK 100 million this year.
