Nycomed Sefa: results of 2003
Net turnover of medicine manufacturer AS Nycomed Sefa amounted EEK 196.4 million in 2003.
For the year 2004, the company predicts a turnover of EEK 215.8 million.
In 2002, Nycomed Sefa earned EEK 25.5 million of profit by the turnover of EEK 168.3 million.

DFDS Transport: financial result for 2003
The realised turnover of AS DFDS Transport in 2003 increased up to EEK 381 million, compared with EEK 271.5 million last year.
This year's forecast is EEK 450 million in turnover and EEK 35.5 million in profit.

Increase in industrial output
Based on seasonally adjusted data, output of Estonian industrial companies in February rose 2 percent in comparison with January. This is mostly influenced by increased output of foodstuffs, timber and chemical products.

The sales of Balbiino increased
The sales of ice cream maker AS Balbiino increased in February by 23 percent in comparison with the same period last year. Ice cream in packages of 0.5-1 litres sold the best.
Company’s market share in Estonia is 41 percent.
AS Balbiino’s last year’s turnover amounted EEK 240 million and profit reached EEK 9 million. Export grew 20 percent in a year. Most of the export went to Latvia.

Hansapank stock on record high level
Yesterday, the price of Hansapank stock moved to a record high level. The price of Hansapank stock increased 0.7 percent up to the highest level in history - EEK 381.71. This is the first closing above the line of EEK 380. The price has increased 58 percent in a year.

Turnover of SL Õhtuleht was EEK 108 million
Last year, SL Õhtuleht, a daily with the biggest circulation in Estonia, earned EEK 14.9 million of net profit by the net turnover of EEK 108.4 million.
For this year, the daily’s prognosticated turnover is EEK 112.4 million and profit EEK 16.4 million.

New Hansapank record
It was only a day after yesterday, when Hansapank stock climbed to the highest level in history. Yesterday, the stock grew 0.41 percent more, to the level of EEK 383.34. But stock’s turnover is not remarkable, as sellers are probably holing on to their shares, hoping for further increase.

Saint-Gobain Sekurit doubled profit
Saint-Gobain Sekurit Eesti AS, manufacturer of car panes earned a net profit of EEK 57.4 million in 2003. In 2002, the company earned a profit of EEK 28.3 million.
Last year’s net turnover amounted EEK 218.5 million compared to EEK 143.6 million in 2002.

SLO Eesti’s turnover to aim at EEK 300 million
AS SLO Eesti, vendor of electricity products, managed to increase their net turnover up to EEK 298 million in 2003. In 2002, company’s turnover reached EEK 272.7 million. Net profit of 2003 was EEK 12.6 million. SLO Eesti prognosticates a turnover to reach EEK 325.6 million in 2004.

Toftan invested nearly EEK 50 million in 2003
The net turnover of sawmill AS Toftan in 2003 reached EEK 244.8 million and net profit grew up to EEK 18.1 million. The company invested EEK 48.9 million in 2003.
AS Toftan is a sawmill in Estonia, based on Swedish and Finnish capital. Owners of the sawmill are Hebeda
Trä AB and Thomesto OY.
