Hansa Capital rose to the level of 52 in Europe
In part of the size of leasing portfolio of the year 2002, Hansa Capital rose to the 52nd and Hansa Leasing to the 63rd place among European leasing companies.
According to the statistics of Leaseurope, in part of the amount of new leasing contracts of the year 2002, Hansa Capital is on the 50th and Hansa Leasing Estonia on the 66th place.
Tarmo Kärsna from Hansa Capital admits that the increase of Hansa Capital is very successful, considering that compared to last year, 70 leasing companies all over Europe have accrued.

Assets of Merko major owner increased by EEK 40 million
The price of Merko Construction share increased by 8% with one transaction to the highest level in history – EEK 132.06, raising the assets of CEO Toomas Annus by more than EEK 40 million.
According to yesterday's closing price, the value of Merko block of shares reached up to EEK 547 million. Currently, in part of market value, Merko Construction is on the third place. Hansapank and Estonian Telecom have the greatest market values.

According to the Bank of Estonia, loans issued by banks to private persons have increased by 18.4% or by EEK 2.390 billion, reaching up to EEK 15.389 billion by the end of the first six months of the year.

Sales of industrial companies accelerated
After two-month slowdown, the sales growth tempo of industrial enterprises accelerated in June up to 11.3%. Increase of output was 0.7% slower than the increase of sales, reaching up to 10.6% compared to same period last year. Sales of industrial companies increased up to 7% in the second quarter.

Hansapank's Internet bank was awarded
Magazine Global Finance nominated Hansapank's Internet bank as the best in Estonia. Besides the prize in the main category, Hansapank received seven out of eight prizes among the banks of Central and Eastern Europe. The magazine acknowledged both the solutions for private and business clients, announced Hansapank.
Hansapank hanza.net was acknowledged also for the design of Internet bank of business clients, trading with securities, making payments and abstracts, credit products, Internet bank design and the whole solution for private clients.
